In the first installment of our ConstructionOnline Special Session webinars, Senior Product Specialist Ian Schafer revealed the upcoming release of the revamped version of ConstructionOnline cloud-based construction project planning software. Following the webinar, I caught up with Ian to ask him a few questions about the full capabilities of new ConstructionOnline:

What are the biggest highlights of the new ConstructionOnline interface?

Ian: A few of my favorite features about new ConstructionOnline are the project-centric nature of the layout, drag and drop in browser, and the right-click menu.  Everything about it is fresh and new, too.  I think our users and their team members will have a seamless experience adopting the new layout. Also, it's extremely fast. On the back end of the software, we used lightweight structures based on the newest modern technology for the fastest possible interface.

What's the best approach to get comfortable with the new layout?

Ian: With the toggle feature in the software, switching back and forth between the interfaces is effortless. But, nothing beats experience and time for this one.  For all new users entering into the Beta period for new ConstructionOnline – investing time with the new layout is the most important factor in getting comfortable with it.

How can I upgrade to the newest version?

Ian: We are currently enrolling clients in a Beta program for new ConstructionOnline – contact us by phone (1 800-700-8321) or email (info@uda1.com) if you are interested.  Once the Beta program is complete, new ConstructionOnline will be available to applicable users automatically.
